A classic heathland course of Championship status (Par 71) set amongst heather, pine trees and silver birch. The Championship course measures 6821 yards and has two loops of nine holes.

The course definition may have changed in the last 140 years since its opening in 1879 however original architect Old Tom Morris would be pleased that it has retained its heathland character and charm.
